Massachusetts Marijuana Law and the Workplace

On December 15, 2016, a new law permitting the recreational use of marijuana will go into effect. The passage of this law has left employers a little hazy on how this may impact their business.

On Tuesday, December 13, 2016, Royal, P.C. hosted a round-table style seminar to discuss some of the most common areas that employers express uncertainty and concern about, including:

   - Maintaining a drug-free workplace;
   - Enforcing drug-free workplace policies; and
   - Conducting drug testing
