EEOC Begins Phase I of Digital Charge System

Published:  May 18, 2015

Earlier this month, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission launched its pilot digital charge program called ACT Digital. Under Phase I of the program, charges filed in any of the 11 participating offices, which currently do not include any offices in Massachusetts or Connecticut, will be available to employers electronically to view and download.  Employers will also be able to respond to mediation invitations, submit position statements, and provide/verify their contact information.  ACT Digital is expected to be available in the remaining 42 offices by October 1, 2015.  During subsequent phases of the program, employers will also be able to respond electronically to information requests.
