Royal Attorneys Successfully Obtain Summary Judgment in Federal Court Case
Royal attorneys successfully obtained summary judgment for a multi-state corporation in a federal court case. Plaintiff claimed discrimination in violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Rhode Island Parental and Family Medical Leave Act (RIPFMLA). The court adopted our client’s position that the Plaintiff could not establish that she had a serious health condition entitling her to protected leave. Therefore, the case was fully dismissed in favor of our client.
