MCAD Dismissal Achieved by Royal Attorneys
Royal attorneys obtained a lack of probable cause finding at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination in a COVID-related lay-off case. The Complainant alleged discrimination against our client on the basis of age. Royal attorneys argued that there were numerous employees who were laid-off as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, most of which were outside of Complainant’s protected class. The MCAD agreed with our argument and dismissed the case against our client.
