Connecticut’s Amended Pay Equity Law Goes Into Effect October 1, 2021

For Connecticut Employers: Connecticut amended the Pay Equity Law, requiring the disclosure of wage ranges to both applicants and current employees. The law also requires equal pay for “comparable” work, as opposed to “equal” work. The bill, titled “An Act concerning the Disclosure of Salary Ranges” goes into effect today, October 1, 2021.
