Bio

Marcia Macklin joined The Royal Law Firm in 2023 as a Legal Assistant.


Marcia assists attorneys in litigation management, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions. She also organizes and maintains federal litigation files, pre-trial documents, exhibits, and evidence.


Prior to joining Royal, Marcia was a dedicated professional who served the State of Connecticut tirelessly for 34 years. Her role as a social worker involved meticulous report writing, ensuring that critical information was accurately documented. She attended court hearings representing the state, and conducted comprehensive home visits, deeply understanding the complexities of individuals' lives. Marcia's passion for social justice and her empathetic approach made her a pillar of support for countless families. Throughout her tenure, she demonstrated exceptional advocacy skills and an unwavering dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable communities.


Marcia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Lincoln University.


Marcia’s hobbies include singing in the community choir, taking long walks, and gathering with her friends and family.
