Bio

Michael helps employers resolve workplace challenges with focus, precision, and judgment. He counsels and defends businesses across Massachusetts and Connecticut, handling matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, restrictive covenants, and breach of contract. His practice includes litigation in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.

At every stage—from risk assessment to trial—Michael prioritizes the client’s business goals. He guides employers through complex decisions involving employee discipline, terminations, internal investigations, handbook updates, and multi-state compliance. Clients value his clear-eyed approach and practical guidance—especially in high-risk disputes where reputational stakes run high.

Michael previously practiced at a major national labor and employment law firm, where he represented companies in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and retail. He advised on personnel issues and defended complex employment claims.

Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of an international corporation. That executive experience gives him a business-minded perspective that informs every legal strategy.

Outside the firm, Michael remains active in the community. He serves as a lector and extraordinary minister at Sacred Heart Church in Springfield, hosts powerlifting meets in support of Special Olympics, coaches athletes, conducts local nutrition seminars, and volunteers with the Knights of Columbus.

Michael’s clients rely on his judgment—not just his knowledge of the law. He sees each issue through the lens of a business leader, and he delivers solutions that protect both the enterprise and the people behind it.
